Unnaipol Oruvan will release on a special day. Speciality is nothing other than Kamal Hasan completing 50 years as an actor on that day. Unnaipol Orvuan is set to release on August 12th. 50 years back on the same day Kamal Hasan made his debut into movies. 50 years back at the age of 6 years he started his career as a child artist.

Universal Hero Padma Shree Kamal Hasan appeared at the Azhagar Malai audio function. Maestro Illayaraja gave music for this film.

R.K,Bhanu, Sukanya, Nepolean and Lal are playing key roles in this film with Madhurai as the back drop. Some of the songs in this movie were shot in Thiruvannamalai.
