Nayakan is the all time classic in Kamal Haasan's career. This movie gave national award to him and also went to Oscar awards. Movie got place in Times of India Top 100 Best Films. Now here is another honor to this classic.
Entertainment Society Of Goa (ESG) has selected it into Top 20 best movies. Mani Ratnam has directed this movie. Plot of this movie is loosely based on Mumbai under world don Varadarajan Mudaliar.
ESG has selected this movie based on people's voting only. Almost 1.9 million people were participated in this contest. The other movie are Sholay, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge etc.
